PROJECT. Exploring the world

🌎 PROJECT: EXPLORING THE WORLD ✈️🌍

Our high school is like a mini United Nations! 🌎✨ We have classmates from lots of different countries, and that makes our school colourful, exciting, and full of amazing cultures. So, grab your passport (imaginary is fine 😜), and let's travel around the world together!

🚩 ACTIVITY 1. Flag Detectives!

Can you recognise these countries just by looking at their flags? 🕵️‍♀️🚩

And here's the million-dollar question 💰:

Do you know anyone from these countries? Maybe one of your classmates?

😜 Good luck! No cheating with Google… at least not immediately!

ACTIVITY 6. Create Your Own Travel Brochure!

Become a travel influencer for a day! 📸🌎

    Step 1: Pick a Country

Choose a country you'd love to visit or one you've already been to.

Maybe your dream destination is Japan 🍣, Canada 🍁, Brazil ⚽ or Australia 🦘. The world is your oyster!

    Step 2. Design Your Brochure

There are lots of different ways you can make your travel brochure! You could do a giant one on a large piece of paper or maybe a small leaflet that your friends can take away with them?

Resultado de imagen de travel brochure structure

Alternatively, you could design one on the computer.(Ask first)

Step 3: What Should You Include?

It’s hard to sum up a whole country in just one brochure so the aim of your travel brochure is to share the most important information and some of the best bits about that place!

    • Name of the country (location, map, language, money, weather,...)
    • Places to visit (Famous landmarks and a brief description)
    • Things to do.
    • Food: For lots of people, the best bit of visiting somewhere new is trying out lots of tasty, new food! Is there a particular dish that your place is famous for?

    Other things to include

    • Fun and weird facts
    • History
    • Famous people

Step 4: Bring It to Life!

Now you’ve got all the information you need, the next step is to bring your travel brochure to life!

     Remember:

You're not just making a brochure… you're convincing people to pack their bags! 🧳😎

If you’re still not sure what a travel brochure should look like, check out some of these for inspiration!
