A biography is a text that tells the story of a person’s life. 

  TITLE

  • The person’s name

  • Optional: profession or why they are famous

Example:
Lionel Messi – One of the Best Football Players in History 


1️⃣ Opening/ PARAGRAPH 1: INTRODUCTION (Basic information)

What to include:

  • Full name

  • Date and place of birth

  • Nationality

  • Why the person is famous

Typical structures:

  • He / She is famous for…

  • He / She is considered one of…

2️⃣Body / PARAGRAPH 2: EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

What to include:

  • Family (optional)

TIPS 

  • Use past simple (was, were, lived, worked, won)

  • Write in the third person (he / she)

  • Use short and clear sentences

  • Organise the text into paragraphs
